Today was the big day - a day I had been eagerly anticipating for many weeks. And then my entire household came down with the flu, including me, within the past couple of days. For me, the worst happened to be last night and today of all days. Today was the C.A.U.S.E. Project in conjunction with Living Waters. The focus of the C.A.U.S.E. (College And University Student Evangelization) Project was open-air preaching and gospel tract distribution on university campuses. Teams were present on approximately 75 college and university campuses in 31 different states across the country.
Living Waters provided each team with 1,000 trillion dollar bill Gospel tracts. While I was upset for not being able to be a part of this outreach, God brought together a wonderful team of 10 people, including 4 other Ambassadors' Academy graduates who carried out the missionn just fine without me.
As with the Origin Into Schools Project, our target was Case Western Reserve University in downtown Cleveland. The team spent 4 hours open air preaching, handing out 1,300 Gospel tracts and having countless one-to-one conversations.
What started as a miserablly cold, windy and rainy day ended up being quite a nice fall day. I praise God for His faithfulness upon the team for a second large scale outreach at a university swarming with scientists and atheists.
My thanks to Chris for being my "fill-in" point man. Thanks to Ryan for taking the following pictures of the event:
